"Life Is What You Make It".
During these trying days, it feels as though mankind teeters on the brink of destruction—haunted by fear, division, and uncertainty. In the raw, aching aftermath of 9/11, Kenny Simmons and Bobby Wells came together to write this piece—born from sorrow, yet filled with hope. It’s a reminder that even in our darkest hours, the human spirit can still rise and reach for peace.
Have you ever really looked at a homeless person—not just seen them, but noticed them? Did you ever wonder how they got there? With just one unexpected turn in life—one lost job, one illness, one tragedy—you could be walking in their shoes. In a city as vast and vibrant as New York, over 66,207 men, women, and children drift through the shadows of success, unseen and unheard. Kenny Simmons gives voice to their stories, reminding us that behind every face on the street is a life worth understanding, and a soul worth saving.
"Love Will Find A Way" by Simmons, Wells & Ferrante is a soul-stirring anthem that speaks directly to the heart. With every note, it captures the boundless power of love—the kind so deep and true, you’d travel to the ends of the universe just to hold the one you cherish. The song paints a cosmic journey of devotion, where time, space, and distance are no match for a heart that knows its home. Wrapped in lush melodies and passionate lyrics, "Love Will Find A Way" reminds us that no matter the obstacles, real love always finds a path.
As a former foster child, I was deeply moved by the mission of Phillis DiNardi and the “We Are Loved” volunteer organization to pen this song. Their unwavering dedication to children in foster care resonates deeply with my own journey.
Today, we are proud to present the powerful anthem “We Are Loved” — a song written, produced, and performed by longtime volunteer and foster parent Kenny Simmons. This heartfelt tribute beautifully captures the core of our mission: to inspire hope, build resilience, and nurture a true sense of belonging in every child touched by foster care.
Through every lyric and every note, this song reminds us of the transformative power of compassion, community, and love.
🎵 Watch. Listen. Share.
Let’s spread the message far and wide—every child deserves to know they are loved.
